Archimedes C-8051 Compiler Kit

Archimedes C-8051 compiler is a fifth generation compiler technology for the Intel 8051 microcontroller. The compiler implements six levels of optimization to yield highly efficient code. This eliminates extra memory costs and saves on board space.
The 8051 compiler supports multiple memory models allowing 8051 developers to choose from single chip based designs to banked mode systems with over 1 Mb of code. These designs may take advantage of a comprehensive feature set including generic and memory specific pointers, multiple memory types, reentrancy and C language interrupt sup-port. ANSI libraries supporting floating point operations are also included to save programming effort.
Archimedes C-8051 code may be debugged in real-time or simulator environments. Both debug modes are supported with Archimedes SimCASE C language & assembly debuggers. In addition, Archimedes C-8051 is fully compatible with 8051 emulators available from third-party suppliers such as Hi-Tools, Metalink and Nohau Corporation.
Archimedes C-8051 compiler functionality is controlled via "point and click" with-in a Windows* based integrated development environment (IDE). Archimedes IDE also features an editor and make utilities.
